Alex Olson is an artist who is always pushing herself within the parameters and limitations of painting on canvas - the artist is deeply interested in the capabilities a painting has to affect the viewer and I am inspired by her altruistic approach to painting in the 21st century. Plus, the soundtrack to her artistic life is very good - you can listen to it on Spotify.
